Community Guidelines

Watchlst is built for people to track what they watch, together and on their own. These guidelines exist to keep the community respectful and worth being part of. They apply alongside our Terms of Use — a violation of these guidelines is a violation of the Terms.

1. Be Respectful

Disagreements about what to watch next are part of sharing a Group. Harassment isn't.

• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse
• No impersonating another person or brand
• Respect a user who has blocked you or asked you to stop contacting them
• Don't use follows, likes, or requests to spam or pressure other users

2. Keep Content Appropriate

• No unlawful, sexually explicit, or violent content in notes, profile photos, or other content you add
• No content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark
• No spam, unsolicited advertising, or fraudulent content
• Keep notes and content relevant to what you or your Group are tracking

3. Respect Privacy

Some users and Groups keep their activity private. Honor that.

• Don't share screenshots or details from a private profile or Group without permission
• Don't post another person's personal information (address, phone number, workplace, or anything else identifying)
• Don't scrape, bulk-download, or automate access to other users' or Groups' data

4. Groups Are Shared Spaces

Groups are informal, like a group chat — nothing binds you to one, and you can leave at any time. But while you're in one, remember your activity there is visible to other Group members according to how items are tagged. Be thoughtful about what you tag to the whole Group versus yourself, and respect other members' choices about their own tagged activity.

5. Reporting

If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, use the in-app report tool or email support@watchlst.com. Include enough detail for us to find what you're reporting.

6. Enforcement

We may remove content, limit account features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion. Depending on severity, we may act with or without advance warning. Repeat violations — and repeat infringement of others' intellectual property — will result in account termination.

7. Changes

We may update these guidelines as the community grows and new features launch. Material changes will be announced in the App.
